Westside Together Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization incorporated in 2023. Our mission is to sustain, accelerate, and scale the work of community partners to create a healthy and thriving West Side for all.
We exist to help organizations and residents committed to the success and prosperity of the West Side access pathways of opportunity, fulfill their mission, and grow their impact.
Westside Collaborative
At the heart of all the work is the Westside Collaborative also known as Westside Together! The Westside Together Foundation provides direct support to community leaders and organizations committed to building and sustaining a thriving West Side through financial and strategic resources and by connecting community builders together to grow stronger networks and collaborations that drive transformative change.
The Westside Collaborative meets quarterly to sync up, to share resources, and to grow capacity together to better serve the West Side. Partners in the Collaborative join Implementation Teams that focus on specific issues and collectively determine the best use of Westside Together resources to make the most impact.
Implementation Teams
The Westside Together Foundation practices embedded philanthropy, meaning we stay rooted in place and give alongside grassroots efforts—not apart from them. We listen, show up, and stay engaged for the long haul.
Implementation Teams give Westside Collaborative partners a way to organize and act on priorities set by the broader Collaborative—focusing on areas like housing, family support, and more. These teams coordinate and leverage their time, knowledge, and relationships to strengthen community resources and work together to decide how resources are used and which projects move forward.
Members who want to turn plans into action are encouraged to join a team and actively drive progress toward shared goals.
